Featured in magazines and on TV, the H.E. Warren Store has been In operation by the same family since 1869. But the store is more than a local landmark. It is a fully-stocked department store that offers everything from shoes, clothing, jewelry and accessories to piece goods and sewing notions. The huge display windows change with the seasons to include the latest in fashion, but also act as a gallery of art and history, honoring local quilters with a periodic display of their handiwork or historic artifacts during community celebrations.
