Scenic Golf Course

The 9-hole course at the Richland Golf & Country Club facility in Richland, Missouri features 3,200 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Shady Dell Park

You can’t miss this beautifully landscaped and maintained 20-acre park in Richland. It has become a community gathering place for all kinds of events, from Relay for Life to Ole Time Christmas, Spooktacular Trail of Treats and the annual Easter Egg Hunt. It is buzzing with activity in June when the Tri-County Fair comes to town.  People are always walking on the pretty 1/4 mile trail that crosses a bubbling creek and skirts a hillside amphitheater. There are pavilions and picnic tables for family gatherings, and benches for resting. In the summer, an olympic-size pool and baseball fields are active as well as tennis courts, playgrounds, a community building with a fabulous mural painted by Richland art students, and the livestock barn area. From Spring to Fall, The Richland Farmer’s Market offers fresh eggs, produce, local honey, jams, and baked goods under the big pavilion.

Float the Gasconade

Winding through the hills around Richland is the pristine Gasconade River, one of the nation’s prettiest floats, it is also home to small-mouth bass and trout. Gasconade Hills Resort is an outfitter and campground that serves the Richland area. You will find everything you need for an outdoor adventure on their website. If you have your own canoe, there are several public launching points and out-take points you can use in the area around Richland.

Hunting and Fishing and Fun, oh my!
