A branch of the Pulaski County Library Services, Richland’s Library goes out of its way to be much more than a place to check out books. A community gathering spot and resource for our town, there is a large space in the back for meetings, quilting/sewing groups, children’s programs, book club dinners, zumba classes…you name it. The library has a space for that. In addition to the children’s Fairy-tale-themed learning area, there is a wonderful periodical area with seating in a sunny corner for quiet reading. The latest best sellers as well as classics are on hand, and if they don’t have it, they can get it from one of the other libraries in the system. But the best part about the Richland library is its staff. Always pleasant and helpful, with an interest in you and your family as well as what you are looking for, they are a treasure you won’t find in a large city library. Wi-fi? Of course. Copy machine?
